Canton Fair Material Trials and FAT Checklist | Welldone
Why a Canton Fair Meeting Cannot Replace Material Trials and FAT
GUANGZHOU, 9th October, 2026 — Hygiene machinery buyers preparing for Phase 1 of the 140th Canton Fair can use Booth 19.1I29 to compare product structures, automation boundaries and project requirements. The meeting can shortlist a solution. It cannot prove that the selected line will run the buyer's materials and SKUs under agreed acceptance conditions.
Welldone Machine will meet factory investors, procurement teams and engineers at the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from October 15 to 19. Discussions may cover sanitary napkin, baby diaper, adult diaper and underpad machinery, together with samples, BOMs, target capacity and factory planning.
A clear booth discussion is only the first gate
A buyer may leave the fair with a station list and a proposed stable speed. That looks complete, but the line has not yet processed the intended nonwoven, pulp, SAP, elastic, film and glue combination. Actually, material behaviour under tension, cutting, bonding and transfer cannot be confirmed from a brochure or meeting table.

The real question is whether the supplier and buyer have defined the next evidence gate. Material trials should use traceable batches and record web handling, forming, bonding and visible defect behaviour. Size-change tests should identify stored recipe values, physical change parts and the checks required before qualified output resumes.
Four records should follow the Canton Fair meeting
Signed sample, dimensions, structure and launch SKU list.
Material grades, suppliers, roll conditions and substitute limits.
Installed scope, run conditions, defect rules, exclusions and witnesses.
Missing data, responsible owner, due date and approval status.
More importantly, the FAT should test the agreed production task rather than a convenient demonstration product. Continuous running, controlled stops, restart, rejection and downstream handover need written criteria. Welldone's earlier stable-output guide explains why design speed, stable speed and qualified output must remain separate.

Use Booth 19.1I29 to define the path to acceptance
Welldone can use the fair meeting to connect the buyer's sample, BOM, capacity target and factory plan to a preliminary configuration. The next step is a dated technical record covering samples, materials, trial responsibilities and FAT conditions—not a claim that the exhibition discussion has already validated production.
